ABOUT GRABS

Birk Ruud wanted a pole that worked better for freeskiing.

The idea started with a simple question: why had so much of skiing changed, while the pole had barely?

Together with Thomas Bache-Wiig, that question turned into GRABS.

After dozens of prototypes, we built a ski pole system around a magnetic connection, an adjustable strap, and a balance point designed to make the pole feel lighter and more direct in the hand.

The same thinking goes through the whole product.

GRABS is built from individual components, so shafts, straps, and handles can be replaced separately instead of replacing a complete pair when one part is worn or broken.

We build poles for freeskiing, and we keep developing them the same way we started: by skiing, testing, changing things, and making them better.
